In order to amend an existing commission group:
- Select the Commission Tab
- Select Commission Manager
- Click on the Commission Groups tab to view existing commission groups
- Click on Edit Commission Groups
This will load the commission group details so you can change the Commission Group Name, Description, Commission Type, and Publisher Commission. You are able to edit and save multiple commission groups at once.
In order to make the commission management easier and more efficient for you, we made it possible to select multiple rows of commission groups and copy them to & from an external file. For quicker copying, you can select a cell and drag the square in the right bottom corner to copy the values, just like you would in excel.
Amended transactions will use the Commission Group value from the time of the transactions even if you have amended the Commission Group after the transactions
Restrictions on lowering the rates
There are restrictions on how much and how often advertisers can lower the rates on Program Standard Commission Rates. The default restrictions for lowering rates are:
- Maximum 20% reduction each time
- Once every 30 days
- Informing publishers at least 7 days prior to the change
Note: These terms may vary depending on your contract terms and conditions. Awin Access advertisers have access to utilize 3 Commission Groups including the Default. Awin Accelerate and Awin Advanced have unlimited access to Commission Groups.
