When will my publishers move over to the Awin platform?

At present, all publishers that have been click or sale active since Jan 2024 will be transitioned to your new Awin program during the upgrade. Publishers will move in tandem with any affiliate programs they are joined to. They will also receive a comparable level of email comms to yours, along with continuing to have access to the Publisher Success team they already work with on the ShareASale platform. If you plan to continue working with any inactive partners, we recommend you download your affiliate list so you can invite them to join your new Awin program.

 

Can I still invite publishers to join my ShareASale program?

If you wish to work with partners not already in the ShareASale network you will only be able to invite them to join the network up until March 1st. After March 1st, you will only be able to invite publishers to directly join your program using the Express Signup feature. Please note that only click and sale active partnerships since Jan 2023 will be moved over to Awin during the upgrade.

 

Do I need to do anything to move my partnerships to Awin?  

No, we will be maintaining your current active ShareASale publishers during your Awin upgrade so they are tied to your new Awin account once you move. If you plan to continue working with inactive publishers, you will need to encourage them to activate prior to the upgrade or invite these partners to join your new program once live on Awin.

 

Will publisher training be provided ahead of the upgrade? 

Yes. Awin’s Partner Success Center contains everything you need to know about the platform including self-service guides and how-to articles. Awin also provides tutorials and guides to help you familiarize yourself with the platform. 

 

Do I need to communicate anything to my publishers? 

No, we will be communicating with your publishers before, during, and after the upgrade, too! You of course, have the option to provide your own communication to partners via your normal channels.

 

Will my publishers need to change their links?

No, your publisher links will continue to track in Awin.

 

Will Publisher Tags transfer to Awin?

Yes. Publisher Tags will transfer to Awin. You will be able to assign commission rates, send communication and pull reporting based on your current publisher tags.

 

Will my auto approval settings carry over to Awin?

If you have a global auto-approval setting turned on with your ShareASale account this will carry over to Awin. If you are using conditional auto-approval rules, these will not carry over to Awin.

 

What happens with publishers that charge integration fees?

Awin is speaking with these publishers directly, so far we are not aware of any publishers that would assess integration fees as part of the upgrade. If you have a specific publisher you are concerned about please contact our team and we can assist.
